U Beauty is likely a brand you cannot stop hearing about. As I am forever on a quest to make my skin look as ageless as possible for as long as possible, I am always delving into every exciting brand. So when I heard the buzz about U Beauty products, a sustainable luxury skincare brand, I couldn’t wait to experience the line. Given that this line has been around since 2019 I am admittedly a little late to the game but here is what I will share (sneak peek to the summary), I wish I hadn’t waited this long. U Beauty eliminated many steps and ineffective skincare treatments, from my beauty cabinet. This is streamlined, minimal, and effective skincare. I am so pleased with the line and I couldn’t wait to share more.

Behind the brand

The brainchild of U Beauty is Tina Craig (you may know her as the skincare-obsessed blogger behind Bag Snob). She founded U Beauty because she was inspired to create beauty products that optimized her routine and skincare. The goal was to create products that would eliminate so many skincare routine steps.

U Beauty launched in 2019 with a single product, the Resurfacing Compound. You know a product is good when within 24 hours of being available for pre-sale, U Beauty sold out completely and then, sold out again on Net-a-Porter when the product officially launched days later. 

Craig has since expanded her beauty empire to include The SUPER Hydrator (AKA “the world’s most intelligent moisturizer”) and many other products which have quickly become big-sellers.

What fascinates me about this brand is the minimalism (there are only 10 products) – each and every product Craig launches is cutting edge and launched with a unique purpose.

Today I am going to write about my experience with The U Beauty Duo specifically because I think it’s a must-have in every skincare routine BUT there are so many other standouts.

For example, there is The SCULPT Arm Compound, which targets arms with a unique blend of marine extracts, probiotics, and ferments. The result is arms that appear firmer, smoother, and more sculpted—invisible shapewear for your arms. 

A newer launch, and also receiving a ton of beauty buzz is The PLASMA Lip Compound, a transformative treatment that plumps and contours the lips with a 3D pillow-effect for natural-looking enhancement with immediate and sustained results. After a single application, I threw away every other lip treatment product I ever tried. It is thick and plumping and provides instant locked-in hydration and visible amplification of lip color, softness, and smoothness; without stickiness (key!). The hero ingredient

The Resurfacing Compound visibly brightens, evens texture, minimizes pores, and fades fine lines and wrinkles, while The SUPER Hydrator provides up to 48 hours of sustained hydration where skin needs it most.

All I can say about this powerful duo is it has transformed my skin – it is glass-like and poreless. I really believe this combo works for all skin types.

The Resurfacing Compound

The Resurfacing Compound is the product that started it all for U Beauty. It is a gel-like, very lightweight formula, and it feels so good on your skin. It truly is a multitasker: it brightens, resurfaces, renews, tightens, equalizes, and defends the skin in one simple step.
