In a world where beauty standards can make one feel less than perfect, I stand firm in the belief that beauty is more than skin deep. At The Glow Wellness, we believe in a holistic approach to beauty-one that transcends the conventional and embraces every stage of womanhood.
True beauty is about feeling confident, balanced, and healthy at every stage of life.
The power of positivity
I attribute some of my acceptance to my husband. Of course, we all want to learn how to find that confidence from within. But, I do recommend surrounding yourself with people who build you up rather than put you down. Sometimes, people’s own insecurities can cause them to criticize subconsciously. As I age, I’m more selective with who I like to spend my time with. I prefer positive, open-minded, accepting friends who are genuinely happy for my successes and there to support my failures.
When negative thoughts start to surface, I quickly find something else to focus on. One way is in making my self-care a priority. I have daily habits that are my non-negotiable. Another way is in giving back: it may seem silly but sharing what has worked for me helps other women my age and when I gear from others like you and they tell me they feel better, I also feel better.
Instead of focusing on the negative, I celebrate something every day. Before I go to bed, I think about something that made me happy that day.
My bedtime routine
My bedtime routine is key. I spend some time unwinding, no screens, and that makes my fall asleep and stay asleep. Then there is my special sleep pillow. You know the one (I’ve talked about a million times). It is my best ally in waking up every morning rested and radiant.
After all, when you are happy with your reflection in the mirror in the morning: you cheerfully start your day, you smile more, you have more energy, work gets better, and you feel invincible.
An investment in your beauty, and sleep
I love my Sleep & Glow pillow. After over six months now of sleeping on my back with my head resting on the pillow and it keeping my head in place, not only do I no longer wake up with fewer face creases my back is also feeling so much better for back sleeping.
I cannot believe how much I love this beauty pillow, it is even better than I could have hoped for. I had become more aware of the deepening lines on my face and chest caused by the excessive pressure on my skin from side sleeping on regular pillows, so I tried to train myself to sleep on my back without much success. I would start out on my back when I fell asleep, but would always wake up on my side in the morning, regardless of how I placed my pillows to wedge myself in place. I found the Sleep & Glow Omnia pillow while researching beauty pillows to help with back sleeping. This pillow is amazing! Not only does the design of the pillow keep me in place on my back the entire night, but the foam in the pillow is incredibly soft and comfortable (not overly heavy and firm like most foam pillows). The elevated sides keep my head perfectly nestled in the middle of the pillow and the slightly elevated neck rest is the perfect shape and height for proper support.
I wake up and I swear my face looks better than when I went to sleep. I consider it an investment in my face. I can most definitely see a difference in my skin. I wake up looking refreshed, no puffiness, and no crease marks on my face from sleeping on my side. The beauty benefits were my main goal but I also have to mention how this pillow has taken away my neck and back pain.
Proven through clinical trials
Sleep&Glow is the only brand that has a clinical study done around their pillow. It was conducted in a dermatological clinic in Barcelona and the results showed that in 82% of cases, sleep wrinkles were reduced after 3 months of sleeping on the pillow. The diameter of the wrinkle and its depth are reduced significantly.
Details on the study:
A 12-week observational study was carried out, in which 23 healthy volunteers, women, aged between 37 and 61, were evaluated for a total of 28 sleep lines+. The degree of improvement in sleep wrinkles after using the pillow, was evaluated by measuring the diameter of the wrinkles provided, and through the evaluation of the clinical images and the roughness images provided by the program by three expert graders. No adverse reactions were observed or reported during the study.
Results: The use of the pillow resulted in significant decrease of sleep wrinkles after 12 weeks. The mean reduction in the diameter of wrinkles was 25.85%, and according to the assessment, 39.3% of the evaluated wrinkles exhibited
significant improvement, 42.8% demonstrated moderate to slight improvement, and 17.9% did not improve or worsened. Globally, they observed an 82.1% reduction in wrinkles to varying degrees.
Conclusions: Sleeping on Omnia Sleep&Glow pillow results in reduction of sleep wrinkles diameter and roughness of the skin.

You can prevent sleep wrinkles
If after examining your face in the morning you realize you have “pillow face”—aka creases and folds from the position in which you slept in the night before—you may come to realize that those very same markings crop up as real wrinkles, splayed across your face for more than just the few minutes it used to take to watch them fade away. Did you know the second cause of wrinkles is sleeping? After sunlight and UV exposure, squishing your face into a pillow for approximately 2,500 hours per year is like ironing wrinkles into the skin. Luckily, there are ways to prevent sleep wrinkles and treat any existing ones with this beauty pillow.

Focus on Prevention
Sleep wrinkles are creases that form on the face due to skin positioning and pressure. They typically form as people move around in their sleep, sleeping with their face down or pressed up against their pillows, and primarily when fabrics have higher friction forces and the skin cannot glide along the fabric.
Did you know the second cause of wrinkles is sleeping? Here is what to do.
1 | Swap Out Your Pillow, and Pillowcase
A common mistake is using pillowcases with fabrics that grip skin rather than allowing it to slide across it. Fabrics like flannel tend to hold onto your skin more than other fabrics do. Ideally, you should be using a silk or satin pillowcase. I love the special copper one from Sleep & Glow. It helps cut down on facial creases, lines, and imprints as you sleep. But it has the added benefit of copper to reduce acne, stimulate collagen and eliminate morning puffiness.

2 | Sleep On Your Back
Sleeping face down and pushing skin into the sheets or pillowcases causes the skin to fold and crease and eventually stay permanently over time. While it’s difficult to change your sleeping position, sleeping on your back allows for a fresh face come morning. Sleep and Glow’s Omnia wrinkle-reducing pillow has a special design to conform to the contours of your face and neck. It is suitable for both side and back sleeping. The result is crease-, wrinkle-, and worry-free sleep.
3| Use an Elevated Pillow
Try to sleep with your head elevated on a pillow and avoid sleeping with your hands under your face. If this is a challenge for you, opt for an adjustable pillow like this one from Sleep & Glow. It allows your face to “float on air”.
This pillow works for a back or side sleeper, cradling your face and strategically positioning your head so the lower half of your face is literally off the pillow. Therefore, the face doesn’t flatten out like a pancake. It’s harder to get wrinkles when your face isn’t on the pillow.
