Virtual fitness exploded during the pandemic — and it’s certainly not slowing down. I am a big fan of the convenience (and lower price $$) of working out at home and I do not plan on returning to in-person anytime soon.
That said, I have tried out a TON of online fitness platforms, including Peloton and BODi (by Beachbody), and have found the one that has everything I need (and actually, more!) and isn’t super expensive.
How did I decide?
Here are the factors I considered:
- If you want to work out with someone who’s got decades of experience helping people get results…. BODi
Both BODi and Peloton have a wide range of workouts to choose from, like HIIT, strength training, and yoga. While Peloton has great indoor cycling, BODi’s programs are more complete and thoroughly tested and you can go back to the ones you really enjoy again and again. Seriously, my husband has been doing the Tony Horton P90X workouts for years! As they expanded over the years they now have over 130 different programs and are now in every category of fitness including indoor cycling.
- If you’re looking for structed programs for different levels… BODi
With over 130 programs designed for everybody, and everybody, you’re sure to find one that removes the obstacles that block your results. Whether its a short 20 minutes, for beginners only, 21 day programs, or even one that challenges you to complete 100 workouts—there is’ one that you’ll stick with that is tested to work. The secret here is the structure. BODi’s programs are designed to take the guesswork out of your workout plan. Pick a program, press play, and the trainer will guide you from there day by day. It definitely makes it easier to ensure I’m getting a balanced approach to fitness to get the fastest results. Which brings me to goals…
- If you have multiple fitness goals and want to know that your work is going to yield the results you want… BODi
No matter your goal, BODi has programs designed to get you results from building muscle & burning fat, to increasing strength, mobility, & flexibility, to losing weight, and/or getting ripped. I’ve never seen a platform with more success stories than BODi.
- If you need an upbeat, energetic – but not annoying – instructor to keep you going and get you excited for the workout… either!
Honestly, both Peloton and BODi have amazing instructors. I do love Peloton’s exclusive classes with special guests. But, for me, the BODi instructors (many of which you will recognize like Shaun T or Andrea Rodgers) just brighten my day. They’re fun and exciting even though you’re not in the same room. That must be why they call them Super Trainers. Plus, if one isn’t your jam, there are just so many to choose from you are sure to find instructors you love.
- If you need a solution that doesn’t cost more than a gym membership… BODi!
At what works out to less than $0.50 a day, my BODi subscription is less than the cost of a single drop-in class for any of the studio classes near me.
BODi has become my favorite workout buddy.
The workout variety, class length options, price and flexibility make it the ideal app for me.
If you want results you can count on and dont want to waste your time, now is the time to try BODi.
